Familiarity β Growth
Familiarity isn't where one grows, it's where one remains stagnant.
We exist in familiarity because it's comfortable, but most importantly, it's known.
We fear leaving what's familiar and discovering the unfamiliar.
The unfamiliar is cold.
The unfamiliar is dark.
The unfamiliar is scary.
The unfamiliar isn't known.
And we fear what isn't known.
We avoid what isn't known.
But how can we grow if we fear the unfamiliar?
After all, growth is present within the unfamiliar.
So, to fear the unfamiliar is to fear growth?
Perhaps.
Therefore, we must learn to embrace the unfamiliar.
We must welcome the unknown into our lives.
We must learn to make the unknown, known.
And this can only be done if we face the unfamiliar head-on.
We must rely not on confidence, rather courage.
When we take that step into the darkness, we expand our light.
We expand what we're familiar with.
Till next time.
Farewell,
- MSGR
